Quality and Legacy
Since 1915, Birmingham School of Law has relied on practicing attorneys rather than tenured professors to educate the future lawyers of Alabama. Our faculty is comprised of attorneys and judges who practice on a day-to-day basis. They incorporate real world experience into their high-quality instruction, illustrating not only the black letter law but how law functions in daily practice and in the courtroom. Birmingham School of Law offers a tradition of excellence and contemporary coursework that rivals courses at other law schools.
Learn More About Our HistoryAccessible and Affordable
Birmingham School of Law was founded to provide affordable legal education to individuals who normally would not, because of other financial, family, and professional commitments, be able to pursue a legal education. Our reasonable tuition rates allow students to earn a Juris Doctor degree and, upon passing the state bar examination, practice law in Alabama.
