Christian & Small is seeking a full-time, trustworthy and dependable Receptionist to join our team.  As the first point of contact for potential clients, clients, vendors and other important individuals contacting the firm, our Receptionist plays a vital role in gathering critical information for our attorneys and in ensuring parties enjoy a positive experience when interacting with our firm. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and customer service skills, an eye for detail, professional manner, positive attitude and a desire to learn.

Duties: Receive and properly address incoming telephone calls. Obtain messages and distribute appropriately to attorneys and staff members. Greet and receive all office guests. Perform data entry, research, and other administrative tasks in support of firm operations. Schedule conference rooms. Assist the Accounting Dept. with billing appeals, conflict checks and opening new matters.   

Expectations: Work efficiently in a fast paced and deadline driven environment. Perform tasks with accuracy and an attention to detail. Provide first-rate service to all clients, vendors and callers. Reliably and dependably perform job duties with a team oriented, positive attitude.

Requirements: Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills. Customer service mindset. Basic computer and data entry skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Minimum of two years of office experience required. Legal experience strongly preferred.
