Job Summary:
The Closing Attorney Paralegal plays a critical role in supporting attorneys and clients through the real estate closing process. This position involves preparing and reviewing legal documents, managing schedules, coordinating with parties involved in transactions, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in preparing and reviewing real estate closing documents, including settlement statements, deeds, and title policies.
  • Coordinate and communicate with clients, lenders, title companies, and other parties to ensure a smooth closing process.
  • Manage closing schedules, ensuring deadlines are met and all necessary documentation is obtained.
  • Assist with escrow account management, including the collection and disbursement of funds.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal laws related to real estate transactions.
  • Prepare and file appropriate paperwork.
  • Maintain organized and accurate records of all transactions.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred.
  • Certification as a paralegal is a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in real estate law or related fields.
  • Familiarity with real estate documents, title insurance, and closing processes.
  • Experience in Qualia
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with attorneys, clients, and other parties.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
