Emily J. Young has a passion for providing seniors, individuals with special needs, and their families with quality legal services and personalized care. She was born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama and is an alumnus of Grissom High School (2000) and Auburn University (2003). After graduating cum laude from the Birmingham School of Law in 2014, she graduated with her Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Estate Planning and Elder Law from Western New England University in 2019. Emily serves her clients in the areas of Elder Law, Estate Planning, and Special Needs Planning.
“Teaching the next generation of lawyers about Elder Law is a very rewarding experience,” says Young. “Elder Law is special because of the people we serve: clients over the age of 65 and those under the age of 65 with special needs. The skills we learn in class apply not only to assisting future clients, but also to how we view and serve those around us in our community. It is a privilege to pass these life lessons on to my students.”
