Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring they feel supported and informed throughout the legal process.
  • Case Management: Independently manage a caseload of criminal defense and divorce matters from inception to resolution, including attending court appearances, negotiating with prosecutors, and advocating for clients in trial.
  • Sales and Client Acquisition: Use excellent interpersonal skills to connect with potential clients and effectively communicate the value of legal services.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other attorneys and staff, contributing to a positive, supportive, and dynamic team environment.
  • Professional Development: Take advantage of opportunities for mentorship, continuing legal education (CLE), and growth within the firm.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
  • Admission to the Alabama State Bar, or the ability to be admitted promptly.
  • Strong customer service and sales type skills, with the ability to connect with clients and potential clients.
  • High initiative and focus, with the ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
