Job Description:
As a Litigation Paralegal at Heninger Garrison Davis, LLC, you will play a crucial role in our litigation department. You will work closely with our attorneys, providing essential support in all phases of the litigation process. We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with a college degree and a minimum of 3 to 5 years of litigation paralegal experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in drafting legal documents, pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
- Conduct legal research and gather evidence to support case development.
- Manage and organize case files, documents, and exhibits.
- Assist with the preparation of trial materials, including exhibits, witness lists, and trial notebooks.
- Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Maintain deadlines and manage the docket for assigned cases.
- Perform administrative tasks as necessary to support attorneys.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- A college degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, with a focus on plaintiff-side work.
- Proficiency in legal research, document management, and e-filing systems.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of relevant federal and state court rules and procedures.
- Proficiency in legal software, such as case management and document review platforms.
