Michael Chambers has been a professor at Birmingham School of Law for more than 20 years and teaches classes on Constitutional Law and Corporations. His practice, the Law Offices of Michael L. Chambers, P.C., focuses on commercial law in the Jefferson/Shelby County area.
An alumnus of Birmingham School of Law, Chambers enjoys his students and says that teaching is rewarding for him. His students also enjoy his classes, which is exemplified by the 16 outstanding professor awards he has received over the years.
“I put a lot of time into preparation for my classes, and I am fortunate to be able to teach courses related to my law practice,” he says.
In his spare time, Chambers plays golf and follows the Atlanta Braves. He also enjoys fly fishing and goes to Colorado or Montana every summer to fish the beautiful streams out West.
Chambers, a father of three, says he plans to continue teaching at BSL. “It is special to be able to educate future lawyers at BSL. It has been a long time since I was in law school, and it is fun to be back there in a teaching capacity, standing on the other side of the podium.”
