Description
Hare, Wynn, Newell & Newton, LLP, a premiere plaintiff’s law firm in Birmingham, Alabama, is seeking an experienced paralegal to support the complex litigation (mass torts and class action) practice group.
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
- Prepare discovery requests and responses
- Coordinate and summarize depositions
- Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices
- Access state and federal court systems electronically (e-filing, downloading documents, etc.)
- Assist with trial preparation
- Proof-reading large filings prepared by attorneys
- Conduct independent factual investigation and legal research
- Perform limited administrative duties for lawyers in the practice group, including calendaring events, scheduling meetings and depositions, and monitoring CLE requirements for lawyers admitted in multiple jurisdictions
- Assist with review of voluminous document productions
